This project involved designing a saddle-stitched book focused on a renowned designer or design firm. My book explores Emigre, the influential type foundry and experimental design magazine. It includes self-written content paired with carefully selected imagery to support the narrative.
The design reflects Emigre’s distinctive visual language, incorporating bold color, expressive typography, and dynamic pattern work, while also integrating my own layout decisions to create a cohesive editorial system. The final piece balances research and visual interpretation to capture the essence of Emigre’s impact on contemporary graphic design.
