The residential mailer campaign was designed to introduce new Elkhart County residents to the library and encourage early engagement by making it easy and welcoming to get a library card. The piece was created as a bi-fold informational mailer that included two accompanying postcards—one highlighting adult programs, free resources, and services, and the other focused on children’s programming and family-friendly offerings. Together, they provided a clear overview of everything the library has to offer for new households at different life stages.
In addition to the printed materials, the mailer packet included a newly issued library card, activation code instructions, and a set of small branded takeaways, including a double-sided English and Spanish bookmark and a refrigerator magnet. The design emphasized clarity, accessibility, and warmth, ensuring that new residents could quickly understand how to activate their card and feel immediately connected to the library’s services and community offerings.
